It's time for someone else enjoys this great sedan. There are only 1314 units of the E55 sedans sold and only a handful of them are AMG Designo. This is a special paint Mocha Black with 74,400 miles. I'm the second owner with maintenance records from previous owner that the dealer provide at the time I bought the car and in addition my records. It was a CPO at the time I purchased the car in 2009. I bought this from the original dealership Monterey, CA that sold the vehicle new. The car has been so reliable and enjoyable. The car never driven in the winter. Never been in an accident. New Michelin Pilots and recently detailed. Price $23,899.

Hi Tomas, it's the interior package that they have been offering since '00. It is basically a full leather dash, full leather door panels, alcantara headliner, special metallic paint job, superior leather, and just a design emblem sewed into the seat back. $11K option if I remember correctly.

designo consists of special paint, upholstery & trim options. The program actually started in the mid-late 90's in Europe. Availability was
limited to a few packages here in the US up until the late '00s.

There were over half a dozen or more separate designo paint and upholstery options for the W211 alone. I remember the Italian MB site
had an awesome configurator for it back then. I wish I could find a PDF brochure.

Current designo offerings have been greatly scaled back on the E-class sedan. You can still build an "Espresso Edition" if you desire though!
