I was not looking forward to the day when our beloved '87 300TD was beyond my care, and that day is here. Much going wrong, but a decent mechanic could give her some additional years... or perhaps that sweet engine needs to be pulled and the rest parted out. White on beige, all good glass, rust beginning, list of other issues. Just don't really want to see the engine (about 275K and running like a dream) junked.

Looking for a resurrection, if possible.

I'll be in Assateague next week with the kiddos.
I've been thinking a wagon would be good for us. Currently have a Subaru with a bad head gasket, but it just wont die.
