Sounds nice! Do you know what is the blue book value?

Regards,

Don

Don - the NADA guides shows the average retail (with the low mileage adjustment) as $23,500 and the high retail as $25,050. Hope that this helps. you can check this on NADAguides.com. Thanks Ken

In all sincerity, if I was selling the car, I'd want to go by NADA as they suggest a higher value, but if I was the buyer, I'd go by Kelley Blue Book.

Why? Because KBB is the book banks use when determining the value of the car when approving a loan, and also the book that your insurance company uses when insuring the car.

Having said that, the car looks like a beautiful car, and is in my favorite color combination for a 107 convertible.

Also, I look at ads daily in the Los Angeles Times Classified section, and late model 560 SL's routinely are listed for sell in low to middle teens. I think Kelley Blue Books values are spot on.

This car looks to be in excellent condition by the pictures, and has very low mileage, so high KBB value shouldn't be too unrealistic.

We all know that KELLY BLUE BOOK is not realistic on vintage car values. NADA is right on as to the value of this car.......just check the exotic auctions. Remember this is the last year they made the 560 SL in that body style. To find one in the "Right Colors" and this is the right color adds greatly to the value. The vehicle looks spotless and well taken care of with extremely low mileage. Had I not just purchased a new vehicle, I would be interested in this cherry vehicle.

Just my 2 cents.........

It seems to me that a lot of members love to make comments on other peoples cars that are for sale even though they have no interest in purchasing that car. Maybe their wife didn't treat them well that morning or who knows why they feel compelled to comment.

SUGGESTION:

IF YOUR NOT INTERESTED IN PURCHASING A VEHICLE LISTED HERE FOR SALE ..........THEN READ THE INFORMATION AND MOVE ON.

WE REALLY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR 2 CENTS.

You might have a better response posting this beauty on E-Bay where you will get some real buys .........not tire kickers.

Just my 2 cents.......
