Wanted: Plastic Mounts for Interior Sunvisor
Have an '87 300D Turbo, Tan interior. The plastic mounts for the interior sunvisors (the inside ones beside the rearview mirror) have deteriorated due to age and heat, such that they came apart the first time I tried to unclip the visor itself and swing it around to a different position. Tried supergluing them back together, lasted for a while, but they're cracking apart again, the plastic is just too far gone.
Anyone have a source for new replacements, or ones removed from another vehicle that are still in good shape, preferably same color (tan)?

I used teh clips off of a Toyota pickup. I just cut the cetering pin on the part itself, and it fit perfectly. Even matched my interior.

Seven bucks each brand new at the dealer, 126-810-00-12-xxxx where 'xxxx' is the color code for your interior. I'm assuming your 'tan' is Palomino, and not Cream-Beige, although I've seen both referred to as 'tan'. Used ones will probably be just as bad as your old ones. If FastLane (forum sponsor) can't get them, call Rusty (800-741-5252).

Color Code Anywhere on Vehicle?
Thanks for the info, both on the trick of using the Toyota clips, and getting them from the dealer.
Is the color code for the interior listed on any of the body plates/tags? The owners manual and other original paperwork were long gone when I acquired the vehicle. Attached is a pic of the interior on mine. Any guesses as to whether this is Palomino or Cream Beige?

From that photo, you have Palomino Tex, interior color code 174. But that's not the 4-digit code you need for the part number. You use the chart in the EPC and 174 will cross-reference to a 4-digit code. As seen in the screen shot below, that would cross-reference to code 8346 for this part number (it can vary by part number & part type.)

EPC Available Online?
Used the VIN decoder. You're right, code 174, mb-tex saffron, paint code 687 pajett red metallic. Gave me some other good-to-know info about the car as well.
I take it EPC = Electronic Parts Catalog, or some such name? Would tjat happen to be available on line some place? BTW, thanks for all the help so far.
