WTB brake master cylinder 82 240D
I'm looking for a good brake master cylinder for my 82 20d vin #302792. I believe all 240d and 300d models from 81 fit. (Doesn't have the brake pressure sensor.)
Looks like this one: http://img.thebenzbin.com/live/W01331612346TRW.JPG Thanks, Mike F. |

This website has a perfectly fine parts department associated with it. Call the 800 number in the morning. -CTH

I appreciate your advice CTH, but with three kids in college, I like to at least try locating a used one. I know where the new ones are.

Then get a rebuilt one from ********.com. A used one is, well, just asking for trouble and wasting your time if you discover that it's not only used, but disused to the point of being safe.

Thanks for your post, cth350. FWIW, I do like to patronize the supplier that supports this site. I'd do the rebuild myself, but the rebuild kits don't seem to be available, at least where I've looked. I did install a new unit (Lucas) about 50K ago, and it is now failing, even after flushing the brake fluid at installation and once more since.
