Rick,

Would this bolt up to a 1985 230/190E? I have a manual transmission and might be tempted to do a conversion.

Sold the whole setup from Scar to a forum buddy for less than $250, but the whole car only cost me $300 so I didn't want to gouge. He also was having to pay about $120 bucks for shipping from Texas to Cali. I think it was a deal that seemed fair to both of us, and that was perfect for me.
I was just buttering him up for future electrical work. I guess I should have thought out the whole Texas/Cali mileage difference before I enacted that plan.....
Oh well, if I'm ever stranded in the sticks of Cali at least I will have a place to stay.....

Yeah....I think a diesal running the quarter in under a minute will be a big crowd pleaser.

Transmission won't bolt up to the 102 block. The pedals, driveshaft and shifter should fit, but I have no idea how the rods would work. You would need a 201 chassis 5-speed to bolt to the back of your engine (at least here in the states...).

Good luck,
Klaus
