W107 dash part needed, early AC indicator dial - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Ok its winter and I am working on the interior of my W107 450. This is an early model from 73 .The piece I need in good shape is the dial backing for the AC. I am not sure if this was common to all those cars that had AC in that era but I am looking for one that has all the lettering clearly visable, You can see mine is basically trashed
If you can help let me know

Its R107, not W107

The W107-series SL, sometimes is known as the R107 (for Reihe, or ’series’ rather than Wagen),
Really both are acceptable

Now do you have the part??

I can help you out here.I guess being a packrat and not throwing things away comes in handy every so often!
I replaced that entire panel with one from a car 1 or 2 years newer than my 74 as the mounts for the fan switch were broke off.The newer one had the info printed on the panel,rather than a additional tab piece(the one you want)
It's partway cracked at the 4:00 position but the lettering is perfect.
