1 amp fuse link for w123 Auxiliary Water Pump – Plug and Play!

I made and donated some of these auxiliary water pump fuse links for the SoCal GTG for w123 owners with the automatic Climate Control Units found on 1981 and later models. They are plug and play, made with salvaged connectors. But can work with W116, w123, or w126 bodies with no Aux. Water pump fuse protection.

I am offering these plug and play fuse links to protect the CCU from bad power surge caused by a frozen auxiliary pump, along with a battery quick disconnect that you can find at NAPA - Part #NW 785117.

Fuse Links with 1 amp fuse

As installed on the auxiliary water pump power feed.

Quick battery disconnect

$25 shipped for 1 qty fuse link and 1 qty quick battery disconnect . I take PayPal but would have to charge an couple of dollars for PayPal fees ($27).
$15 plus $1 PayPal fees ($16 shipped) for 1 qty fuse link.

PM me if interested.

EDIT: Have a small batch of links available.

I'm getting one of these kits for my 126, as it uses the same CCU system. Great idea and a great price IMO, and I dont have to do any leg work either. Thanks DV!

Delivery Valve:

From the picture it looks like you have the quick disconnect on the negative terminal. I thought it was supposed to go on the positive terminal, or doesn't it matter?

Disconnecting the negative side will still break the circuit so no electrical power will be going through the car.
I firmly believe you should always disconnect the neg side first before disconnecting the positive side to avoid sparks that may occur. Which usually happens on the positive side when there is a circuit completed.

Upon reconnecting, it the reverse. Reconnect the positive side first then negative side goes on last.

Thumbs up

Received the kit today in the mail. Well thought out, the fuse link looks like a factory piece. A great value, and another system in my car protected. Thanks DV!

Installed mine today. I definitely feel better knowing the fuse and cutoff, there. Two less things to worry about. Thanks very much!

To all the potential buyers out there: Mr. DeliveryValve's 1amp fuses are really well built. I've seen them first hand during the recent socal meet.

All kits and fuses sold out.

Not sure if I'll be making anymore, acquiring pieces is the hard part.
But who knows!... PM me if your interested. Maybe if there is another batch of folks interested, it maybe doable again.

Anycase thanks to all who purchase them. I hope your cars will be all safe and but IMHO everybody should also go a step further fuse the blower motors with a 16 amp fuse.

And thanks to HighDesert Benz, DSlater, and p4olom for the public props!

I got mine in. That fuse holder is very nice, much better than what I was planning to rig up.
