Too much investment for one-time use

I heard a story that back in the 14" days, a dealer would paint a cap to match your color on the spot. Even if you ordered the part, all hub caps were shipped in the solid chrome color

I've masked and painted hub caps, and would seriously consider buying these tools if I had to do it again (probably will in a few years).

I have the outer ring "tool"; though it looks a little different. Very helpful and time saving.
