wtb: Gen II w126 front brake backing plates
Title says it all, looking for the front brake backing plates from a 2nd generation (1986 and later) w126. These are all I need to be able to upgrade the brakes on my car to the larger ones and I would really like to get it done and off my list lol

Mods so far: Fram 8038 paper filter, 4 brake light mod, Gen II w126 (front) rotors/calipers, boost turned up to 12lbs, non-egr manifolds, water/methanol injection, 4-speed manual 1980 300SD Turbodiesel, project car, nearly ready to hit the street 1974 240D, New paint

i have them but i suspect that someone will come along and give you a set or sell them for $5 or something that makes parting these cars out just a little beyond not worth it anymore......if the unthinkable doesn't happen let me know

Yeah my brakes right now are terrible, upgrading to the larger ones is going to be great, I'll actually be able to stop relatively quickly again! lol
