Remove the back of the seat. IIRC it's one philips head screw and the back panel gets pulled down.

BIG nut holds the armrest on the inside of the seat back.

Not sure. I definitely need a motor for the front drivers door and the rear drivers door. Both of them have the plastic gear all chewed to hell. I need the top rail of the front drivers door regulator as well. That has disintegrated due to a leak in the window seal.

vacuum pods

Keep all the good vacuum pods --- easy access since you've already pulled the dash.

Same thing with the vacuum door lock actuators; keep the good ones.

Sorry to everyone currently waiting for parts. I picked up some impromptu short term work and it's keeping me busy busy. Everything is packed and ready to go out tomorrow.

center console

Need the center console- as much of it as you may have. Some "nice person" decided they needed the radio more than my 240D, and destroyed the console getting it.
Also engine mounts and heat shields if available (have the arms, just need the rest).
NCFriend has expressed a willingness to help get it this way during his road trip if you have something.

Thanks

Just posted and saw your update. oh well.

I have the center console. Some of the little clips are missing and it doesn't have the carpet piece (it was gross, so I tossed it), but it's in good shape. I have some heat shielding left, but not sure what goes where. Will have to post up some pictures and have you tell me which pieces you need.

The driver's side one was ruined.

Pictures of the heat shielding I've saved and the center console.

Is the car gone,or do you still have parts? Sorry, I was not clear. It is the curved red painted sheet metal piece (10-12" long) attatched directly to the fender under the front bumper. I can see the piece in your pic,but cannot see the condition. If you still have the car, I can take a pic of mine tomorrow. ...tomorrow if needed. thanks, geo

The car is gone, but I stripped it of most everything before it left. That particular piece was damaged, though, and went to the crusher with the car.
