It's either a 1982 or 1983, and is being parted out. The floorpans are done. Previous owner sprayed expanding foam in the floor boards to seal them up. The plan is to use the engine & transmission and tires on this car:

How can people treat such a nice car that way?

front windshield leaked and leaked and leaked.....water sat in the car for a long time and rusted out the floor pans.

It's a 1981; just checked the VIN---- the front seats have bunny ears and have blocks of wood under them. The passenger front fender is good; tail lights are good; have the manual airbox and all the controls to do a conversion.

Looks like a workable black dash. Will that Palomino interior fit in a W123 300D ok? It may not be perfect but it looks alot better than the Texas burnt stuff I have.

That is MB Bamboo! The drivers seat looks pretty beat. How is the passenger and rear seats? C-Pillar drivers side trim? Depending on condition I may want all of that.

Maybe I should have read this before I gave you a price.

if those skins on the front and back seats are bamboo. How much!??? I got a set of front seat bamboo covers from Reptelan however they are the 6 pleat version and I'm looking for 5 In fact I could use the drivers door card too. I'm fairly close by in NC. They do seem a bit off to be bamboo though. Did they offer bamboo in 81?

The driver's door pocket is missing.

The black trim piece around the rear defog, power ant, sunroof switch is in good condition. I may need it for my ACC to manual swap though. The trim piece has a blank for the sunroof switch since this car does not have a sunroof.

Well, it doesn't look like Palomino to me now that gatorblue92 has mentioned the word Bamboo. The front seats aren't really secured very well, so maybe they have been replaced ???? BUT.....and here is my disclaimer:
I don't do color very well. I grew up (as a kid) with knowledge of your 7 basic colors --- red, green, blue, black, white, purple, and yellow. School buses were yellow then; Stop Signs were red with white letters; and stop signals (traffic now) had red, yellow, and green.

Since the front seats have the pointy ear headrests, can someone contribute when those were no longer used? If you look at this:

I would definitely say these seats do not seem like color code 134 Palomino; the seats would seem to be much closer to color code 104 Bamboo found in the 1972 - 1978 catagory.

Anyone want to run the VIN for me?
