Parting 1979 280E, automatic, faded silver with blue tex interior. does not currently run, so I don't know engine/transmission condition yet. Very nice blue interior, almost cosmetically perfect seats (1/2" seam split on driver's backrest), passenger and rears perfect. For function, front seats could use springs. Rear door cards perfect, front are trash except for passenger pocket. Recently purchased, don't yet know what works and what doesn't. Let me know what you need an I'll get condition (remote storage). If its electrical I'll power it up to check function.

Not available are wheels, hubcaps, windshield, rear springs.

Let's bump this: Parting 1979 280E, automatic, faded silver with blue tex interior. Condition of M110 engine and trans are unknown other then their cost will be very reasonable. Blue interior, (typical blue dash cover is more cracks than you can count) almost cosmetically perfect front seat covers (1/2" seam split on driver's backrest), they could use springs. Rear door cards perfect, front are trash except for passenger pocket. Let me now what you may need. If its electrical I'll power it up to check function. Window switches, gauges, lights, glass, trim, wiring, starter, alternator, trinkets, etc. all available. Reasonable prices (below ebay sold listings). I do need a "trinket" I'm looking for one of the alternator bolts. My 240D somehow lost its nut and backed out which destroyed the threads. I suspect the M110 used the same part as the OM616.

Update: Gone are cluster, clock, fuel/oil/temp gauge, blower motor. Lots of other part available. Not in a hurry, but I'd like to have my space back this spring.

sounds like the gauge cluster has already been cracked open. any chance the remaning gauges have silver center dots?, i'd been interested in just those. I need three, but if you only have 2 (or 1) I'd still be interested.

Looking for a lot of 280TE parts.

European market Sanden A/C compressor in good working order (doubt the case with yours).
Both A.A.R molded hoses with the vacuum nipples. Heck, even consider a good spare A.A.R. and W.U.R. depending on price since so difficult here.
Electrical junction mounted forward of the spring tower on the passenger side.
Ribbed door lock pull (has those versus the kind of mushroom shaped).
Used set of plug wires (accidentally the cap end broke on the Beru set and not willing to shell out for a new set).
Back up lamp lens and seal (North American is very different).
Doubt ever find, but toss out there anyway, the wiring harness for alpine horns.
Horn selector switch on the dash.
Cruise control linkage and cable. Would consider the whole system for the right price.
Manual front window regulators and associated parts, in blue.
