Found GREAT used parts source in Atlanta!
I recently bought a TON of great used items for my 79 300SD from a guy named Chris Fett in north Atlanta. He's got a BIG yard full of parts cars--lots of diesels too, from what I saw, and a building stocked with even more used parts. Very pleasant dude, too. His e-mail is: torkadork@adelphia.net. He says he can ship stuff as well. Just thought I'd pass the info along to the rest of you home-wrenchers out there.

More good news! My girlfriend is buying a nice 82 300D from Chris this week! It's dark blue, parchment interior, tinted windows, sunroof, everything works...about 240,000 miles and runs GREAT! I finally got her out of the Toyota Camry!
Well, actually she didn't have much choice--the engine blew...threw a rod...So we're getting her into the 300D for far less than it was going to cost to fix the Camry! That car had the personality of a toaster anyway--It got the job done, but very BORING!Mike
