Low amplitude vibration sound.

Hay Guys/Gals,

I have not driven my ML for a while. Yes I am spoil. But I had to drive the ML today because the Merkur needs a new radiator.

And I notice while driving it this morning that there is a low amplitude vibration sound comming from what seem to be the back seat area.

I know the ML is know to have back seat rattling sound while going bumps and I have those too. But low amplitude vibration sound occures only when going at moderate speeds (ie 40-60+ mph) not a low speed at all and not going over bumps.

If it is just the seat it is not big deal. But I am concern that this is a sign of more serious thing like problems with the traney or transfercase drive shaft ect.

Are my concerns unfounded or are there things I could look for or check?

thanks

blau

P.S. Comments from Gilly is especially appreciated.
