ML Power Windows - Auto down, but not UP!

Hoping someone can help me. Have a 2000ML with power windows offering auto down but not auto up.

Can anyone advise if and how i can upgrade the power windows to include auto UP? Is this a simple matter of replacing the window switches with late model (believe this was offered 2002 on up) window switches?

m.

Different centre console required for the auto up switches. Also, the door control modules are most likely different as they have to have a safety cut out that stop you losing fingers!

Here they have one-touch upgrade kits for MB.

tks RickT - but the upgrade doesn't apply:
as per the detailed info on this page-

"Sorry, these window kits do not work with the Mercedes one-touch down window switches that do not provide one-touch up functionality."

I believe up to 2002, the window switches are located on the consule, up against the middle storage bin. Do you know what year they changed this configuration moving the window switches down to the center console next to the shift selector?

What year did MB begin producing the auto up & down one-touch feature in the ML? This info would help.

If I understand correctly, changing this (assuming the window switches are mounted next to storage bin center) I could change the switches and the in-door mounted control modules. hmmmm...

Can anyone confirm I understand this correctly?

In Oz we got the updated ML with auto up and down windows in late 2001. I would imagine it possible to retrofit the newer parts but very expensive.
