Adding Alpine SatNav
I have an aftermarket Alpine SatNav system which is installed into my 98 ML320. Apparently these cars never came with a speed pulse cable to connect to (my previous C class did) which is needed for accurate navigation tracking. My vehicle position is always 10 to 20 meters out as it cant compute quick enough.
I understand there is a Canbus VSS adapter that can be installed. Has anyone tried this with success? I need to interface with a green white cable from the SatNav and could do with some guidance... Thanks |
