2001 ML 320 ABS module
I just bought 2001 ML 320. It is a collision vehicle. The ABS control module is broken. Can I replace it with a salvage unit? I was told that the used unit may not work with the rest of electronic modules.

I think you'd be OK with a used one, it would need to be just version coded though, i believe. I can check.
What do you mean the one you have is "broken"? Module is physically smashed? Another module won't neccesarily make the warning light go off if there is a problem elsewhere. Gilly

I think...
u should get the part from a salvaged 2000-2001 ML to be on the safe side.... try www.pgauto.com, is that the part that breaks most of the time on a frontal collission?

abs module, 2001 ml320
I just got a module from a salvage yard. The dealer claims it should work with my vehicle. There is no MB part number on the module, but there is a bar code on the front cover. How can I verify this is correct module for my vehicle.
Also! does any of you guys could provide me with an electrical diagram for the ABS module. The wire harness was cut during accident. I need to reconnect wires. Thanks in advance. |
