towing ML, penske says no!

I am going to move this year and was checking online for the car carrier trailer or dolly option. Penske says we cant tow the ML, doesnt give a reason but I am assuming due to weight.
FYI, the dolly has a higher weight capacity than the trailer.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Chris

Since the transfer case does not have a neutral option, and the truck is all wheel drive, towing witha dolly is out, but you could certainly throw it on a heavy duty trailer.

I suggesting not to tow your ML due ML is AWD and it ll ruin your transmission..you could ship via trucking company...or flat bench....

Great...even I put a little sticker on my windshield indicating that if the car need to be tow without u re knowledge then towing company must use flat bench...so at least they know if they dont do it then they ll be in trouble....
