Question on ML55 fuel filter replacement

I replaced the updated fuel filter and 3 new fuel hoses on my 2000 ML55 AMG.
I want to know what kind of body sealant I should use to put the floor cover back on the fuel sending unit. This was sealed and I had to remove it to get access to replace the fuel hoses.
Thanks

At the dealer we use a Mercedes Benz white caulk. Any caulking (moderately fast drying) should do the trick. Make sure you hammer that panel flat again before installing. Also, put a plastic bag or clear plastic over top of the panel to keep the caulk from sticking to your carpet.
