99 ML 320 fusebox location and check engine light is on...

So my engine light comes on today as I pull out of the driveway and I did notice a clunk when I engage drive which usually only happens in low range but the indicator is not on. It pulls out normal but does not shift thru the gears. So I actually think the tranny is in "limp home mode" which engages 2nd gear only. I notice the auxilary lights indicator does not come on either so I suspected a blown fuse but I don't know where the fuse's are located! I was going to check the tranny fluid but there appears to be a red lock on the dipstick for the tranny that says MB tech only! So I don't know if I can pull this out! At least the truck still drives and I'm only a few blocks to work. I tried engaging/disengaging low range and it does not appear to work/do anything.
