Cool. The Alabama delivery program was kind of a humorous Georgia joke. Alabama is not quite as glamorous as going over to Germany to get your E or S class! I know BMW does delivery out of their S.C. plant. One contractor I work with occassionally called one of our account managers to brag about that! Arrogant prick!

DUTCH Ordered one today. Build date should be mid to late December.
Congrats! I hope you enjoy it. They really are a nice machine.

Think the dealer is expensive? Do you know how much it costs to train a dealer tech? Or buy the required MB special tools to have on hand?

Got the confirmation and build completion date of 12/18 yesterday. Dealer hopes to deliver between Christmas & New Year.

If the transmission gives trouble, will you come to Atlanta to fix it?

Also, what's the word on the Airmatic suspension? It's part of the P3 package I ordered. Is it reliable?

Yea, it is pretty solid. Keep it in automatic mode and it will ride nice.
Comfort is pretty soft and Sport tends to be a little firm.
Wow, P3. You will have all the bells and whistles.
Any ML built after 9/06 should have all the latest software and
engineering updates to the trans.
If it gives you grief, find a local tech and make friends.
When the next flash comes out, he can speed dial you.
Enjoy,
DR.D
