How do I install a brake lightbulb in my ML - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Hi,
I have a 2003 ML500.The brake light went out,so I removed the screws,but I have no way of getting the light out.This is the left side brake light.

You need to pull back on the tail light assembly, as there is a snap that holds the tail light in place also.
After that, there is an electrical connector that needs to be removed, that's pretty simple. The bulbs are located on the inside of the lamp assembly in the "racetrack" shaped holder. There is a clip on each side of the holder, just press these clips in towards each other to release the holder.

I took the two screws out,but I could not get the snap out.How do you remove the snap?

After removing the nuts you just kind of pull straight back on it, there is a fastener on the front part of the assembly you can't see until you have it off.
