That seems like fun.I really wanted to drive the ML500 in the snow that we got last week, but my son took it to college so I was forced to drive the T100 (that was involved in an accident while it was parked last friday). The roads were covered in ice and snow and it was perfect for the ML.I didnt get a chance to test it,but I am hopping for more snow to test it.
Awesome video.

Great you liked it Nilesh, many people buy the Gs for show, never truly use them for their true purpose which is off road where they truly shine over others, of course the high prices of G would deter most of the buyers from really taking a risk with them off road, quite understandable.

Personally,I would never take a "newer"G off road, but the older ones I would mess around in a little.I would still drive the "newer"G's in the snow, mud, ice basically in things that wont hurt it to much, but will let the car show off its skills. In India,it must be fun driving the G's especially with the roads.I used to own a Fiat in Baroda.Look at the Vintage Mercedes section under the "My Mercedes History"thread.I have a couple pics of my old Mercedes back in Africa.

Actually getting very hard to find off road tracks in India, highways are all paved, some very nicely some not so nicely, problem is most off road tracks are private properties and their owners don't take too kindly to see off roaders on their properties, however one can still find riverbeds etc, the most extreme off roading I did with my Gurkha was in Leh, it was quite risky but was my lifetime ambition to do so therefore had to go over.

The inner roads by my house in Baroda arent really paved and we were using a Lancer a few years ago over there.I drove a Qualis over there and that seemed like it would be fun to take off road.Do you have any experience with them?

I have driven my Gurkha in Rajasthan in 50C weather through the deserts there, Jaisalmer, Alwar etc. Was challenging in the sand and quite deceptive as well. Must have been a challenge for you to do off road with the Qualis, that thing as 14" tires although the suspension is quite good even for mild off-roading.

You will enjoy it immensely, just do the basic check ups before you take it off roading.
