Wheel for a 2006 M-Class..l, currently do not have this option, but was able to pick up a new heated steering wheel, and was curious to see what is involved and needed to install.. l also have the telescopic stalk with the light in the end, to replace the other stalk...l'm assuming thier must be a control unit somewhere, probably in the steering wheel column somewhere ??? How about the wiring harness ???? Or would it be their already ???? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated..Thanks.....

Unless you are ready to cough up a bunch of $$$, I'd opt for some good gloves.

l picked up the steering wheel from my buddy for $100.00 bucks, he was having the wooden one installed on his ML 63...The telescopic stalk is $80.00(the one with the light in the end, its replacing the stalk l have their now) l know thier is a control unit under the airbag for another $150.00, and thier might be another unit that goes under the rear seat...l'm assuming that does the rear seats as well as the heated steering wheel...l'm hoping the wiring harness is already their, and it might just required a different connector on the end...lt's only because l received the wheel for a steal, that l'm considering doing this...Any thoughts...on install ????
