2001 ML430 CATs Failed

At a 135k miles and 2 weeks ago both my CATS failed at the welds. My VIN was outside of the service campaign and well beyond the factory warranty for these parts. My dealer made a case for a “Good Will” warranty replacement to MBUSA and it was accepted. Needless to say I was happy to hear that news and the $2400 dollars in warranty work was handled in about 4 hours.
