1999 ML 320 P0715

I have the code P0715 in my ML 320, do I need to replace the whole valve body in the transmission or is there a more inexpensive electrical plate I can replace that I have read about in some posts? If so what is the exact name for the part? Thanks

You are getting an ENGINE code for a transmission problem.

Most likely the trans conductor plate is the issue.

However, you most likely will have to ahve the trans scannes & erased as well evewn after making that repair.

MB part number for the conductor plate is 140-270-11-61 ($200),
You will also need MB trans fluid, filter, & pan gasket.

You also will need MB number 203-540-02-53 connector ($8).
