G WAGON DIESEL engine $700

not sure if the oe engine is a sought after part or not...
$700 sounds steep for a non turbo motor not in a car...

Isn't this just an OM617? Possibly an OM603 or OM606 depending on year I guess...nothing you couldn't find out of a sedan though?
