ML230 1998-2002

Have anybody dealt with this vehicle?

It is Gratz factory, so no Alabama issues. Is it more reliable? What the fuel consumption, with 5 speed manual?

Looks like 5spd manual was an option. M111 (same as C220, C230) is a good engine but I can't imagine how slow it is without a supercharger.

not going to trek it :)

I am more worry - is it same reliable than a typical ML320.
Consider to bring one under Canada 14 years provision from Europe as a winter car

Good advice, but not in my case:

90% winter driving and 15 years old diesel - not the best combo.
