I need to replace the water pump on my 1999 ML430. One brand that is sold by almost every on line MBZ parts supplier is Graf. I have found contradictory information about Graf water pumps--eg made in China/made in Italy; uses same bearings as the OE MBZ pumps/bearings prone to early failure (24K miles).

Any comments on the quality I might expect if I buy a Graf water pump for my ML would be appreciated. Same for comments on any other brand.
