check Engine Light P0170 & P0173

Hello all, I had the check engine light come on about 3months ago.. I took the car to Auto Zone they hooked up the scanner and pulled the code .. I got the P0170 P0173 errors.. From the other post I read they were saying that it was the MAS sensor. A few said it was the vacuum lines.. Well I am here to say that I checked the vacuum lines first before spending the money on the MAS.. Well it was the vacuum lines near the Brake line on the left inner fender, the little cannister was clicking and just twisted the vacuum lines around and the clicking stopped, Then the check engine liight went out.. WOW saved a few hundred dollars.. Now I just need to fix a leaking headlamp washer.. One of the hoses must be crack..

SEE YA

NOPE...

These air mass sensors sell at dealer for $700 canadian.. I will sell the same thing straight off the dealer to you half the cost at $350 canadian (includes shipping).. Which is about $215 US they will fit the E320 and the ML320.. you will know when your air mass is bad when you check engine light keeps coming back in 3 days after you resetted it, and when you accelerate, you will notice hestitation, and more difficulty when you want to pass someone. Inside the air mass sensor is a heat sensitive wire that may have snapped or become dirty.. I don't believe the wire is replaceable.. the mercedes technicians just usually replace them since its a common problem.. expect to change the air mass sensor when your check engine light to come on about 60,000-90,000 kms is very normal.. I personally know 5 people who own ml's who changed this part =( maybe bosch wants to make money =)
