Type of Oil in transfer case.

Hi.
I’m interested what type of oil is used in transfer case, ML320.
If is the same MB transm.syntetic.
Or other one.

Transfer case oil

The "other one", just regular Dexron III/Mercon, no need to use the expensive stuff the transmission takes.

Today I replace Transfer Case oil.
I use Mobile1 synt.ATF + mix additive to Anti shudder. Used on Auto Transm.
Looks is working slightly better.
