cold feet!

i have a ML 320 99 and is working pretty good till now.i have a problem with the blower wich blows air at the feet, the lower part.is a diferent blower or is the same , because for the windshield and front and lateral it blows correctly at every speed 1,2,3, and 4 .
so... is a diferent blower or just some of the ducts are stucked or closed??
any ideas???

ONLY 1 blower motor. the outlet position is controlled by the dial..
A cable runs to the different outlets.

There is an updated air guide that replaces the original one at the driver's footwell. approx $30 and a snap to change. Alternatively, you can pull that air guide out and wrap one or two of the big holes with duck tape. this will increase the back pressure and produce more forceful air blow down to your foot. See pic below and cover the redlined holes with duck tape or HVAC tapes.
