It is flagged! Yet I still see people from other states performing the jersey-slide incorrectly, failing to display their off-colored hand gestures when the time calls for it, or navigating jughandles and circles improperly!

Hey Flounder, you live in Highlands? I lived on Seadrift Ave for five years before having enough of Jersey and heading to New Paltz, NY.

Corazine did it for me...

I'd love to do my own work right now (I usually do, I've rebuilt the 330 in my '67 oldsmobile twice so I know what I'm doing!) but working two jobs and attending classes FULL TIME, leaves me with NO time...

Follow up on "Shop warning bad service bla bla bla" thread-

I started a thread warning people about a particular garage I went to and didn't have a good experience with at the time. I would like to make it very clear to everyone that the mechanic in charge took care of everything with my car. He even threw in four brand new toyo tires mounted and ballanced for me, did an oil change and topped off all of my fluids (I witnessed him to my surprise doing it while I walked into his shop to straighten this out)

The owner/head tech sincerely apologized about the difficulties and fixed everything that was fouled up at no charge, even diagnosed and got my cruise control working!

Sometimes on of those cars come around where it's just hell and nothing is going right, which he explained was my car. Still doesn't explain leaving my window wide open in a snow storm but oh well, he fixed everything and thats that.

I'd hate to see anyone not go to him because of my write-up a few days ago, I'm sure there are better garages out there but he does do good work at a great price. I felt unjust not clearing up and making known what he did for me due to the inconvenience.

The shop is Precision Automotive in Rockaway, NJ.

Yeah, the two will probably get separated soon. Glad it worked out and they took care of you.

I think the point was to append your orginal thread with this new disclaimer, you silly boy....not vice versa.

This post will quickly become divorced from the other.....and what if, per chance, they only read the original thread? And therefore have no knowledge of this newer thread.

Either way - glad to hear it's resolved.

I have to wonder if the owner of the shop reads this site? Perhaps someone else passsed along your site posting information to him?
Something sure stirred him up. Or perhaps he is well aware that his help has limitations to put it kindly. At least he did make make amends.
A business can be damaged beyond repair if experiences like yours take place. The loss of you as a customer is just for starters. He knows as well you would be likely to talk to others. So now he has a free ad instead. Well not quite free.
Hope your new tires wear well. If any odd wear pattern was on the old front tires spring for a front end check and alignment. Unless he did it as well. Your still ahead then.
