breakfast with the trout

great smoky mountains national park. this guy was fishing early.
i wish i had his trout for breakfast instead of the greasy sausage biscuit i had.

part of the park is closed to autos a couple of mornings each week for bikes.
i rode 45 miles that day including some decent long climbs to get to the best areas.
great day. little traffic, perfect weather (in the mtns), and great scenery.

followed this river for a long stretch.
used to backpack in this area a good bit years ago.
hope to BP on the App-Trail some this fall when temps (and leaves) fall.
