breakfast with the trout
great smoky mountains national park. this guy was fishing early.
i wish i had his trout for breakfast instead of the greasy sausage biscuit i had. part of the park is closed to autos a couple of mornings each week for bikes. i rode 45 miles that day including some decent long climbs to get to the best areas. ![]() great day. little traffic, perfect weather (in the mtns), and great scenery. |

used to backpack in this area a good bit years ago. hope to BP on the App-Trail some this fall when temps (and leaves) fall. |
