I think that's a gullwing SDLLLLLLLLLL.

Dang, that's one goofy looking machine. Well, I think all those stretched cars are goofy. I guess the wings would look okay on a normal car.

If they're not counter-weighted (don't appear so), they must be a ***** to open.

I don't think diesel 126's had conversion done. I know that there were 123 converions done... infact there is a lady that drives a blue 123 diesel(i am pretty sure) limo in Newark, Ohio as a daily driver.

Also.. it can't be a SDL because of the headlights. The headlights shown are for pre-1986. SDL's were only produced 1986-1987. The only diesel 126 made before '86 was the 300SD... and thats a short wheel chassis. My guess is thats a 500SEL or 380SEL converted to a limo.

I remember seeing a picture of a 560SEC that had been converted to Gullwing doors in the late 80s for sale in the Robb Report. I haven't seen a picture of it since. It was white also, and looked pretty cool.

I see pressurized cartidges holding the door up. In any case, it's Jeeve's job to open the door and hold it open
