I, like the majority of other motorists in the UK have to fork out thousands of pounds each year for the privilege of driving on the UK streets
A brief estimated run down of my costs, excluding fuel and servicing is £450 insurance on my main vehicle, £150 on classic policies, £170 road tax and £150 MOT (Ministry of Transport road wortyness test) on three vehicles. This adds up to just under £1,000.
Looking in the local newspaper under the county courts section and I noticed somebody was prosecuted for driving with no tax, insurance or MOT and without a driving licence.
So what do you think this do gooding Judge fines him?
The vast amount of £135 plus £30 costs and 4 points on a none existant licence
