my mom celebrates 47 yrs at Fortune Top 20 firm

this week, my mother celebrated :

47 years of service !!!

at a fortune top 20 company.

her orig employer was purchased by mr big approx 10 years ago,
and they have been *suprisingly* good to her since that time.

when my fathers health declined, they even set her up with:
work at home, on your schedule, for their "special" projects.

very unusual empathy from a huge monster corp these days.


in contrast, i could only manage just under 20 yrs at a fortune-50.
