Happy New Year everyone.

What did everyone do last night?

We ordered sushi from a local Japanese restaurant, took it home, and ate it. We washed it down with a wine-sized bottle of sake.

I slept like a baby.

Happy New Year to you too. I made Duck with leeks with a demi-glace, plum sauce wrapped in crepes with demi-glace drizzled over the top and washed it down with a nice 2000 red Bordeaux. I was too tired to make dessert - Banana's Boster. That'll be tonight. Maybe I'll even give the kids (4 and 6) some.

I went to a new club in Underground Atlanta with a friend, got some good exercise by dancing badly, and earned myself a light hangover in the process. Great night, but the club became something of a madhouse after midnight, when the crowds came in from watching the ball drop

I went to bed about eleven so I could get up somewhat early and take the dogs out running (they run,I walk).

Spent the night eating, drinking, and playing monopoly with some good friends from Houston, Tx. while enjoying the last of my vacation at my second home in Santa Fe, NM. Santa Fe had some nice fireworks at midnight! The city view was dazzling last night with them.

Wife and I kept alive our family tradition and slept through the new year.

Had hopping john and cabbage, so I'm cool for another year.

Very diffeent night for me. I actually came home sober New Years Eve, for the first time in awhile.

Bad cold.
