Airbus A380 double decker jumbo jet to make first flight in a matter of hours

I'm a sort of aviation buff, I frequent a lot of aviation websites like airliners.net and have Flight Simulator 2004, but I thought this would be of some interest to those here who love to fly, love aviation, fly for a job, have a passing interest in aviation, and those who don't care but will read this thread anyway.

At 3:30 am CST, the Airbus "Airboss" or "Scarebus" A380 will make it's first flight from Toulouse in France, and will return back for further testing. For those of you who don't know, the Airbus A380 is a full double decker 555 passenger airliner best suited for long transcontinental and transoceanic trips, so no, you won't be flying from Houston to Dallas on one of these. It's a four engined bird, and umm.... it just looks like a big Tylenol and ummm.... CNN can tell you better.

The Airbus A380, the world's biggest airliner, took quietly to the skies on Wednesday on a maiden flight that opened a new era in aviation history.
