Why is Mexico's President Fox taking so much grief for merely speaking the truth?

Not only are Mexican Immigrants doing work that most blacks won't do, they are doing work that MOST AMERICANS of ANY other race won't do. How many Chinese or Japanese or Jamaican or Jewish or Canadian or German or Brazilian or black or white or (insert any other race here) people do you see waiting for work at your local Home Depot, compared to the overwhelming number of Mexicans? All one has to do is look. It's not about racism, it's about reality.

......and in many places the illegals are getting free healthcare at taxpayer expense when many Americans can't even afford to buy coverage. The taxpayers are paying higher taxes to pay to educate kids who have no business here..........and our jails are filled with criminals who had no business crossing the border.

All true. But that's not even my point. Legal or illlegal, they are STILL doing the work that most other people won't.

When a place preffers to pay an illegal $2.50 an hour under the table instead of a fair wage legally then thats the case.........if these places paid a fair wage there would be plenty of americans jumping at them.

Also true, but that is not what I'm getting at with this....

Vincente Fox is being accused of racism for merely pointing out the obvious. He has nothing to apologize for. His remarks are just being used as another excuse for race-baiting losers like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to get a few more minutes of camera-time on CNN.

I think he is the one screaming racism in that he openly aids people in violating our laws....he obviouls has a mental disability if he thinks the USA owes his entire counrty a living.

BHD, it's painfully obvious from your rantings where you use the words "illegals" and "criminals" interchangably that you don't have the first clue about alien workers. Educate yourself; for a start, read 'Coyotes' by Ted Conover. Then come back here and let's talk about the real problem: businesses that aren't paying fair wages or that continually participate in unsustainable business practices or worse yet, use alien workers to avoid OSHA ramifications. Please don't demonize hard working people that often risk death illegally crossing to the US who are simply trying to make a better life for themselves and their families.

Remember, at one time not that long ago, most of us were 'illegals' too.

I notice that there isn't much of a prosecution going on against employers of illegal aliens . . . the restaurants, the produce companies, construction industry. Isn't the issue, if illegal aliens can't get jobs then they have no incentive to cross the border? If there's anyone that should be incarcerated, it's the folks that hire . . . especially politicos that can't seem to do without nannys . .

If they don't have a work visa...they are illegals, being in this country and violating the labor laws...I.E. working without a green card or work visa..or being here illegally is a crime. Therefore criminals is an accurate statement and NOT a rant as you state.

They are criminals...they did not go through the process to come here legally. They should be shot or deported...the places that hired them should have its assest siezed by the government and its owners jailed.

Most illegals come here to work as we all know. Most cannot receive the welfare benefits that have made the poor blacks, hispanics, white people, etc.... in this country to friggin lazy to go and wait all day at home depot for 50 bucks a day.

Whose to blame? The poor mexican looking for a job? Or the employer who refuses to pay a fair wage for a job?

Do the same people that blame Bob's hole digging company of exploiting the mexicans for cheap labor also point out that Nike, and a host of other corporations are outcourcing jobs to other countries searching for cheap labor and not having to pay benefits as well?

It's the world economy baby.........

It's maddeningly frustrating to bid on jobs that should be charged at xxx amount per hour, go to someone who can do it for less because they pay a lot less to illegals.
