travel documents US -> Canada
Occurs to me that the kids don't have passports. What documents will they need to enter Canada and get back into the US?
Thanks, Sixto 95 S420 87 300SDL |

I haven't done it since prior to 9/11, but a birth certificate used to do the trick to reenter the U.S. Leaving the U.S. never required anything, but, this might have changed as well.

No Passports required till 2007.
Till then, you will need proof of your U.S. citizenship, which a passport will provide or a certified copy of your birth certificate issued by the city, county or state in the U.S. where you were born. A driver’s license or Social Security card is NOT valid proof of citizenship. In addition, you will need photo identification, such as a current, valid driver’s license. |

the problem you'll have -- if any-- will be re-entering the states.the only problem entering canada would be if you could not prove that the kids are yours and you have permission to travel internationally with them.of course if both parents are with them then proving that they are yours should be the only task.
we're about 1/2 hour west of toronto, where are you going? have a good trip!
