Help,I'm confused and need some guidance.

Seems we used to have illegal aliens over here,working for cash and living in crowded,generally unsafe conditions.

One never sees that term anymore,has it been replaced by the hypocritical,pandering,namby pamby PC phrase undocumented immigrant?

Or are they clean different things?
