i liked the fact that 1997 was the last stellar year of benz quality. i own a 1997 c140. and am not contemplating buying any post-1997 benz products.

i have been owning benzes for over 30 years. don't you think that benz would care to talk to me about what i think that they should do. no. benz doesn't give a rat's ass about its historical customers.

in 5-10 years, benz will disappear. toyota or nissan will acquire them.

abandon your benzes soon. because the repair parts will be drying up. this is a dead-end marque.

you doubt me? just watch the death throes.

Albert, could you post the article? I'd like to read it but am not a subscriber to WSJ.

Also, do you think most car manufacturers will be around in another, say 15 years?
