Horse Play gone bad.....very bad.
Enumclaw-area animal-sex case investigated
By Jennifer Sullivan King County sheriff's detectives are investigating the owners of an Enumclaw-area farm after a Seattle man died from injuries sustained while having sex with a horse boarded on the property. Investigators first learned of the farm after the man died at Enumclaw Community Hospital July 2. The county Medical Examiner's Office ruled that the death was accidental and the result of having sex with a horse. A surveillance camera picked up the license plate of the car that dropped the man off at the hospital, which led detectives to the farm and other people involved, said sheriff's Sgt. John Urquhart. Deputies don't believe a crime occurred because bestiality is not illegal in Washington state and the horse was uninjured, said Urquhart. But because investigators found chickens, goats and sheep on the property, they are looking into whether animal cruelty — which is a crime — was committed by having sex with these smaller, weaker animals, he said. The farm was talked about in Internet chat rooms as a destination for people looking to have sex with livestock, he said. "A significant number of people, we believe, have likely visited this farm," said Urquhart. The Humane Society of the United States intends to use the case during the next state legislative session as an example of why sex with animals should be outlawed in Washington, said Bob Reder, a Humane Society regional director in Seattle. "This and a few other cases that we have will allow us a platform to talk about sex abuse of animals," Reder said. Thirty-three states ban sex with animals, he said. Susan Michaels, co-founder of local animal-rights organization Pasado's Safe Haven, said she has been fighting to have bestiality made illegal. "It's animal cruelty behind closed doors," Michaels said. Jennifer Sullivan: 206-464-8294 or |
Serves him right. Wish it happens to that $hit head in S.C. who raped a dog. Don't you wonder why the heck that dog did not turn and bite his wee wee off?

I find it odd a state that loves to micromanage its residents doesn't consider animal rape a crime? Maybe its a favorite passtime at the state legislature get togethers?

I'm more surprised you're not more well versed on the subject and many of your other posts would seem to suggest. ;)

This case reminds me of one I have some familiarity with.
One of the producers I work for occasionally at the IRS television studios in MD was dating a guy not too long ago. She has a cat that was having problems, so she took it to the vet. They discovered, due to internal injuries, that the cat was being raped. So she set up an audio recorder in her house that would turn on if there was any loud noise. Sure enough, her loser live-in boyfriend was raping her cat! How this works phsically-- I don't even want to think about! To make a long story short, they had to put the cat down. The guy was convicted of animal cruelty and sentenced to three months in jail. Everyone in his small town knows what a pervert he is. They should have castrated him. I couldn't find info on the case, but it took place in Ellicott, MD. I'm pretty sure PETA had their people involved. Hopefully she won't date anymore losers, but she has a pattern. |

A horse is a horse, of course, of course, And no one can talk to a horse of course That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mr. Ed. Go right to the source and ask the horse He'll give you the answer that you'll endorse. He's always on a steady course. Talk to Mr. Ed. People yakkity yak a streak and waste your time of day But Mister Ed will never speak unless he has something to say. A horse is a horse, of course, of course, And this one'll talk 'til his voice is hoarse. You never heard of a talking horse? Well listen to this. I am Mister Ed. Very important question. Was it a male horse or a female one? |

Roach seeks law against bestiality
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS AUBURN, Wash. -- Reports on an animal cruelty investigation at a farm near Enumclaw show Washington state needs a law against bestiality, state Sen. Pam Roach says. Roach, R-Auburn, said Monday she plans to introduce legislation that would make it a Class C felony to have sex with an animal, punishable by as much as five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. More than 30 states have laws banning bestiality, including six that make it a felony. Roach said her proposal also would make it a crime to videotape or distribute images of people engaging in sex with animals. "These are sex acts against the innocent that have harmful effects," she said. "People of this mind are probably making money off the harm they do to animals." Roach said her proposal was sparked by reports on a farm in her legislative district that King County sheriff's deputies and Enumclaw police said was known for bestiality and was cited on Internet sites catering to people who engage in sex with animals. After a man died July 2 of internal bleeding from engaging in sex with a horse at the farm, investigators seized "hundreds and hundreds of hours" of videotape and found evidence that "people from all over the country" had gone to the farm to have sex with animals or watch others do so, police Cmdr. Eric Sortland said. Investigators in the King County medical examiner's office ruled the death an accident. The videotapes have been referred to prosecutors for consideration of animal cruelty charges. --- Information from: The News Tribune, http://www.thenewstribune.com |

Charge filed in connection with man who died having horse sex
The Associated Press King County prosecutors have charged a man with trespassing in connection with an incident in which a friend was fatally injured having sex with a horse in Enumclaw. James Michael Tait, 54, of Enumclaw, is accused of entering a barn without the owner's permission. If convicted he faces up to a year in jail and a $5,000 fine. Prosecutors filed the charge today in county district court. Arraignment is scheduled for the week of Oct. 31. Tait does not have a listed phone number and it was not clear if he had obtained a lawyer. Officers were told that Tait entered a neighbor's barn last July in Enumclaw along with the man who died so that the latter could have sex with a horse, charging papers said. Tait was videotaping the episode when the man received internal injuries that led to his death. Officer were told that Tait, the man who died, and a third man sneaked into the barn repeatedly to have sex with horses, according to the documents. The third man was not charged with trespassing because investigators found no videotapes or other evidence that placed him in the barn on a specific date. The prosecutor's office says no animal cruelty charges were filed because there was no evidence of injury to the horses. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2002568970_webhorse18.html |
