Mommy... make it stop!
No matter how many of us left Florida, there will always be 2 people to take our place. As nasty as these storms are, I still prefer them over the cold weather. |

I moved out of FL a little while ago.
Don't know why but I think I miss it a little.

Even without hurricanes, after a few visits, I'm another who does not want to live in FL.

I moved from Maine to Florida, talk about culture shock. After a couple months I ended up in Kentucky, but sooner or later will be back in Maine...
Florida was different. When I got there, they had a snow flurry. If you looked REALLY hard, you'd see a flake here and there, nothing stuck to the ground or anything, but people were FREAKING out and buying everything in town they could find. Oh, and in the morning there was a VERY THIN crust of ice, like on the puddles and stuff, but that was a major event as well. Being I just moved from Maine, I was less then impressed.
