small new mod...

Well This was next to impossible to get. Even with the part number, the dealer cannot get this, nor can any parts people I contacted around the globe.

How did I get it?

Well my Brother works for the Beverly Hills Mercedes Dealer. And he recently Picked himself up a brand new 2006 C230 Sport. This is the same knob that comes on his car. he had to order it as a replacement part for his car against his vin, as if his car's shift knob was defective.

And to boot it was super expensive, but he got it for me as a gift.

I managed to remove the leather shift boot on it, but I plan on somehow making that fit on my car.

I already had the Shaft Adapter, so it was a simple install.

So Check it out and Enjoy!

BTW, pic taken with my new cell phone. not too bad huh?

I am still undecided on if I like the phone, so far its not bad, but I may decide to exchange it for something else.

Alon

Nice knob...I have W124 envy dude! I get to deal with a slipping tranny and loose driver's side glass instead of mods!

Do you have the phone wired up to your car audio yet?

the bluetooth kit there is wired to its wown speaker. it mutes the radio and plays sound through that speaker. it has its own mic. it works great. and full voice dialing with the phone so I don;t even have to touch the phone.
