KV educated us on this subject and I saw the 60 Minutes special a while ago. Take your pick--there are thousands of fringe groups like this.

Get this for a dilemma: Some friends of mine called me 2 weeks ago. The Klan had placed a pamphlet in their mailbox--what to do? I asked if it had postage--it did not. I said call the PO and report them this is a federal crime. Then they told me about the pamphlet. It was letting them know that a convicted pedophile had moved in down the street and had not registered within the statutory period of time as an offender. They didn't drop a dime on the Klan, but don't feel good about it.

I'd bet money that he's black, and that his RACE is their true motivation....

Even if that's not the case, they're just trying to score some good public-relations points in the neighborhood. They're not merely "doing it for the children". Don't let such distraction tactics obscure your view of what they really are: Ignorant hate-mongers.

I'd report them.

Fred Phelps has been doing this ignorant #&@* for over a decade. My guess is he must make a decent living with his persona, follow the money. Someday he will piss off the wrong person at the wrong time and they will put a .308 round between those beady little eye's.
