Cool video.

I pray on cars like that. They all have something to prove, and are slow as mud.

Took me awhile, but that is a cool video. The exhaust note sounded quite Ferrari like. I've seen some F-1s on TV that sounded like a Kawasaki 2 stroke. Fast, I suppose, but uhhh.... not manly enough.

Go to the race in Indy; you'll never suggest it's "not manly" again after you hear it in person!

Yeah unfortinitly they got rid of the V10's last year, not manly enough? A 3L V10 at 19k rpm will make your hair stand up, it is about the most awsome sound anything can make.

Go to an F1 race, front row, on a fast secton of track.

Right up there with a P-51 Mustang doing a hi-speed low-level pass, throttle wide open!

Yeah, I guess anything at 19K rpm would be making a pritty shrill sound. It's silly, I suppose, but the deeper, throatier sound sounds better to my raised on '60s muscle car' ears.

Back in the 60s, I was a big consumer of F-1 news and I dug Jack Brabham's cars. There was a 16 cylinder, horizontally opposed 3.0L BRM engine, I forget which teams used it. They said when it held together, it was fast as bejeezus, and you know how fast that is.

Bum for another good video:

http://www.dumpalink.com/media/1143194246/F1_Ferrari_vs_Normal_Ferrari_vs_Fiat

F-1 Ferrari vs. Ferrari vs Fiat once 'round the track.

Pretty much... but the P-51 and the F-4 have always had a particularly "manly" note to my ear!

Their is an airport right next to the mouth of a river that I fish quite often. When their is an air show all the old war birds fly right over us as they land, there final aproach is usually real low and right overhead. Nothing like a B17 right overhead, man those things are slow. No wonder they shot down so many!

P51's are about as sweet as they come but I have to say the Spitfire is still number 1 in my book. Thats one sexy little killer.
