Labor Shortage in China
After years of double digit wage inflation China is beginning to have labor shortages for lower skilled workers. China has begun to outsource lower skilled jobs to other countries, and their own interior, where wages are more competitive.
Chinese workers are still paid about 4% of US workers, so it seems unlikely that the US is ready to take back those jobs.

England had the same problem during the growth of the industrial revolution. They hired forces to burn family farms and such to drive the population to the cities, where the factories were, for survival. Jobs were waiting for the displaced farmers. Some call it slave labor, but it payed a wage. Some will tell you the Civil War here in the States had a similar origin.
